ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 11.09.2011ರ ಭಾನುವಾರದಿಂದ “ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಪೂರ್ಣ ಅನ್ನದಿಂದ ಸದ್ಬುದ್ಧಿ” ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯ ವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ‘ನಿತ್ಯಾನ್ನದಾನ ಸೇವೆಯು ನಿತ್ಯ ನಿರಂತರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಸರ್ವಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದಾನ ಎಂಬ ಉಕ್ತಿಯಂತೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 12 ಘಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 2.30ರವರೆಗೆ ಅನ್ನಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದಂದು “ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ಸಮಾರಾಧನೆ” ಯು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯಪ್ರದವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಗೈದು ಧನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಇಚ್ಚಿಸುವವರು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಯಥಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜಮಾ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು.

The tradition of Nityannadana at Shri Jnanashakthi Subrahmanya Swami Temple, Pavanje, was started on 11th September 2011 with the noble vision of providing wholesome food to all devotees under the guiding principle, “Samskarapoorna Annadinda Sadbuddhi” (Righteous wisdom through sacred food). Since then, the service has been carried out uninterruptedly every single day, becoming one of the temple’s most significant contributions to society.

At present, on an average, 1,500 devotees are served daily, a number that rises considerably during special occasions and festivals. The Annadana is open to everyone, including school and college students, without any restriction of caste, creed, or social background. The program is entirely funded by generous devotees, who consider Annadana as one of the highest forms of seva.

During major festivals, the scale of service expands tremendously. For example, during Champa Shashti Mahotsava, over 30,000 meals are served. On Maha Shivaratri, more than 6,000 devotees partake in Annadana, while during Navarathri, special Annadana is conducted daily, feeding around 4,000 devotees each day. Overall, till date, more than 60 lakh devotees have been served prasada under this seva, reflecting the temple’s steadfast commitment to the age-old principle that Annadana is one of the most sacred and selfless offerings.

Future Plans

To meet the growing number of devotees and strengthen this noble service further, Shri Jnanashakthi Subrahmanya Swami Nityannadana Trust has envisioned an expansion program. The plan includes the construction of a dedicated Annadana complex, which will house a modernized kitchen, spacious dining halls, storage facilities, a warehouse, and all essential utilities. This infrastructure will not only help manage large-scale Annadana during festivals but also ensure better efficiency, hygiene, and comfort in daily operations.

With the blessings of Shri Jnanashakthi Subrahmanyaswami and the continued support of devotees, the Trust aspires to transform this vision into reality, ensuring that the seva of Annadana continues to flourish and expand for generations to come.
