The Shri Jnanashakthi Subrahmanya Swami Religious Trust was established with the noble purpose of preserving and nurturing Vedic traditions, performing Yagas, Homas, and Samskaras, and ensuring that sacred rituals are made accessible to devotees in their purest form. The Trust has consistently upheld its objective of serving society through spirituality, providing a platform where devotion and tradition converge for the welfare of humanity.
Major Yagas Conducted
Over the years, the temple under the Trust’s guidance has been a divine stage for several grand Yagas of immense spiritual significance. Among them are the Gayatri Yaga (2002), the month-long Pundareeka Maha Yaga (2002), the week-long Soutramani Gavamayana Yaga (2007), the ten-month-long Vishwa Jigeeshad Yaga (2017–18), and the historic Maha Vrata Deergha Satra Yaga (2019–20), which continued for 206 days. Each of these Yagas not only enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the Kshetra but also drew thousands of seekers who experienced divine blessings.
Shri Jnanashakthi Gokula – Goshala
In line with its vision of dharmic service, the temple established a new and well-equipped Goshala, Shri Jnanashakthi Gokula, in 2025, replacing the earlier structure. This magnificent facility is designed to care for more than a hundred cows, offering them food, shelter, and medical attention. Beyond being a sacred duty, the Goshala stands as a symbol of compassion, sustainability, and devotion, reflecting the temple’s deep-rooted commitment to Gou Seva.
Shaanthi Homas and Astrological Remedies
Every day, various Shaanthi Homas are conducted here in accordance with Shastra and Vedic methodologies. These rituals are often performed on behalf of individuals seeking remedies for personal or family challenges. Devotees travel from far and wide to consult and to undertake these homas, which are believed to yield results purely by the grace of Shri Jnanashakthi Subrahmanyaswami, the presiding deity of the Kshetra. The Trust charges only a nominal fee for these services, recovering costs without any profit motive, reinforcing the temple’s principle of selfless service.
Poorva and Uttara Shodasha Samskaras
The temple also provides facilities for performing the Shodasha Samskaras, both Poorva (sixteen rituals from birth until marriage) and Uttara (sixteen rituals after death), in strict adherence to scriptural guidelines. These samskaras are offered at very nominal costs, enabling devotees from all walks of life to uphold their traditions without financial burden.
Gadhaadhara Peetha – A Dedicated Space for Ancestor Rites
A unique feature of the temple is the establishment of the “Gadhaadhara Peetha”, a dedicated sanctified place for performing the Uttara Shodasha Samskaras. Equipped with all essential amenities, it provides devotees with the right environment to conduct these rituals with reverence and devotion towards their ancestors. In addition to the Shodasha Samskaras, the ceremonies such as Shraadha and Varshantika are also conducted here. The management ensures that these ceremonies are performed strictly as per tradition, charging only a very small amount to cover ritual expenses, thereby making these services accessible to all.
